Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.

Repair and replace defective parts and components as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while performing tasks.Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.

Technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.

Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
