Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact
Work with business process owners to document and map processes
Develop procedures derived from the documented and mapped processes
Support identifying the interfaces between processes
Support the revision of existing procedures to align with current processes
Support the development and maintenance of a procedure standard in terms of content, scope, and aesthetic
Provide training to departments on procedure writing as required
Other duties as assigned
The work provides a great opportunity for an individual to:
Contribute significantly to documenting Kinectrics processes and shaping how we do work as a company
Interface with different people, including leadership team members, from all over Kinectrics
Support the continual improvement of the integrated management system at Kinectrics
What You Need to Succeed
Technical
Completion of a technical degree or diploma; additional certificates in technical writing and/or specialized diploma(s) an asset
A minimum of three-years’ experience with technical writing
Expert with Microsoft Office software
Experience in the nuclear industry is an asset
Experience with process mapping is an asset
Communication & interpersonal skills
Articulate and effective communicator with excellent, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
Detail oriented with a proven ability to perform under pressure
Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Able to take on tasks and be the primary driver for completion
Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in resolving problems
Customer focused – able to help stakeholders identify and solve their problems
Work with colleagues to develop solutions to problems collaboratively
