About the Role

As a Trauma Response Team (TRT) Member, you will provide critical support to individuals, families, and communities following disasters or traumatic events. TRT Members deliver Psychological First Aid (PFA), Post-traumatic Stress Management (PTSM), and Self-Care Coping Groups to both community members and BHN staff. This is a unique opportunity to support resilience and recovery during moments when it's needed most.

What You'll Do

Respond to traumatic events on short notice, providing crisis support within established protocols.

Deliver Psychological First Aid to individuals, families, and community groups.

Facilitate Post-traumatic Stress Management Groups for those affected by disasters or critical incidents.

Lead Self-Care Coping Groups for BHN employees.

Educate communities about stress reactions, coping strategies, and emotional resilience.

Provide referrals, resource information, and assistance with services when appropriate.

Ensure confidentiality and uphold the human rights of those served. What You'll Bring

High School Diploma or GED required; prior human services experience preferred.

Authorization and recommendation from your current supervisor to join the Trauma Response Team.

Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations and work collaboratively with diverse populations.

Successful completion of Riverside Trauma Center training in PFA/PTSM (required before service).

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to community locations. Why Join BHN?
