Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift at our Fort Wayne facility. This facility primarily supports the bedding industry by manufacturing mattress and seating components, and it also serves the automotive industry by producing thermal and acoustical nonwovens for noise cancellation. The role involves working on large nonwoven machines that require 4-7 operators per machine, focusing on maintenance and repair tasks.
Responsibilities
Maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Disassemble equipment and tooling for repair or replacement of worn or broken parts.
Reassemble equipment post-repair as needed.
Work on call on weekends, with some weekend work required.Essential Skills
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including 3-phase motors, servos, VFDs, and relays.
Experience with PLCs and understanding of ladder logic.
Hydraulic and pneumatic expertise.
Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
Ownership of necessary tooling.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Millwright experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The position operates on a night shift from Monday to Friday, 7pm to 3am, with a rotating on-call schedule for weekends. A 5% shift premium is added to the hourly wage. The work environment involves handling large machinery and may require wearing steel toe shoes for safety.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
