The Field Service Engineer will provide advanced technical support, commissioning, and optimization of systems and equipment for clients worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute start-up, commissioning, and performance optimization of advanced electrical and mechanical systems

Conduct detailed equipment inspections to verify proper installation and operational readiness

Analyze performance data during trials, ensuring systems meet or exceed operational standards

Develop and deliver customized training programs (both hands-on and classroom) for customer personnel

Provide technical support for preventive and corrective maintenance strategies tailored to each project

Review specifications and implement operational requirements to align with customer performance criteria

Collaborate with design teams, offering field markups and feedback for “as-built” revisions

Coordinate and oversee on-site activities, including vendor and contractor performance

Prepare and present detailed technical reports, capturing equipment performance and project milestones

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

5+ years of field service or relevant hands-on engineering experience

Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, along with operation and maintenance manuals

Proficiency with control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation.

Proficiency with high-speed rotating equipment

Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals is highly desirable

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with teams and customers

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service

Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%, including international and long-term assignments)
