Your Role and Impact:
Patient Care: Escort patients to examination rooms, take medical histories, and perform vitals
Lab Work: Conduct basic lab tests such as urinalysis, blood draws, and COVID swabs
Medication Administration: Administer medications under the supervision of a medical provider
Administrative Support: Greet patients, handle phone calls, verify insurance, and manage appointments
Team Collaboration: Ensure the clinic is tidy and well-stocked, and support your co-workers to provide the best patient experience
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a medical setting
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills: Strong computer and technological skills, active listening, and clear communication

Requirements
Education:
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program is preferred
Current certification as a Medical Assistant
Current CPR and First Aid certification Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting; experience in Urgent Care is preferred
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families
Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for actions
Open to constructive criticism and feedback when necessary
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and third-party vendors Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments
Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
Competence with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with EKGs and Phlebotomy preferred but not required Physical Demands:
