Program Administrator 2 (Outreach Coordinator)

Schedule: Full-time

The Division of Securities is seeking candidates for a Program Administrator 2 (PA 2) position to act as the division's Outreach Coordinator.

The PA 2 will:

-Seek opportunities to work with other public and private entities focusing on investor awareness

-Organize and coordinate outreach events, workshops, and activities

-Speak at events regarding the latest trends, topics, and potential red flags as well as other Division efforts to raise public awareness

-Create and distribute promotional materials and newsletters

-Develop and write website content for the division's priorities; post the content to com.ohio.gov

-Work closely with the Department of Commerce Communications Team to assist with social media content ideas for the division

4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.

-Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years public speaking experience

5+ years of organizing, coordinating and hosting outreach events, workshops, and activities

Job Skills: Program Management
