Job DescriptionSpacesaver Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on 2nd shift.At Spacesaver, we pride ourselves on being industry leaders dedicated to producing high-quality products.

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Spacesaver, you will be responsible for:\nCommunicate with a positive demeanor to all Spacesaver team members.\nPerform maintenance-related activities of equipment, buildings, and grounds safely and proficiently.\nDiagnose and repair complex equipment breakdowns.

When needed, effectively communicate issues with OEM vendors and outside resources for rapid identification and closure of issues.\nPerform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training\n Suggest changes to and perform modifications of existing Spacesaver equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.\nPerform safe and effective operation of lathes, vertical mills, pipe threaders, conduit benders, hydraulic presses, pneumatic and electric hand tools, material handling equipment, welders, plasma arc & cutting torches.\n\nRequired SkillsQUALIFICATIONS:Technical or associate's degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment (robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) Experience on equipment and automation consistent with a sheet metal fabrication, and painting operation preferredStrong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of codes and regulations as they apply to an industrial maintenance roleAbility to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specificationsExcellent organizational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environmentSpacesaver is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.If you are a person with disabilities needing assistance with the application process, please email [email protected] or call .Required ExperienceWhy Work at Spacesaver?Simple.
