about this team The Global Distribution Facilities team plays a business-critical role ensuring DCs remain operational and in complete compliance with local regulations, statutes and ordinances.

Facilities is responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment & systems, powered user-operated equipment and the overall upkeep of lululemon's DCs across North America and Australia.

This team works closely with equipment and construction vendors along with internal teams including DC Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Safety and Distribution Excellence.

core responsibilities * Ensure the efficient operation of all Automated Lululemon Material Handling Equipment.

* Lead continuous improvement projects.

Be an innovator, anticipating future business needs and strategically helping to plan solutions.

* Review, update, troubleshoot, and propose programming solutions.

* Provide ongoing training to the facilities teams and recommendations on utilization of emerging technologies, (controls, PLC's, VFD's and robotics, that may be beneficial in the DCs * Strong relationship building skills to support partnerships with external vendors, DC facilities, Engineering, Technology and DC Operations * Travel to visit assigned NA DCs and teams, on average 4x / year.

* Resolve controls-related issues at assigned DC's.

* Work with 3rd party to ensure that our systems are running at optimal levels.

* Methodically transfer duties/monitor system performance from 3rd party - for better accountability.

* Perform system scans and system reviews (PM's) on the controls systems (including scanner statistics). * Support teams on firmware updates on VFD's and overall programming.

* Experience with AutoStore or ASRS systems, & other robotics.

* Lead and develop technical team on Ladder Logic adjustments and troubleshooting.

qualifications * 5+ years' experience in PLCs and controls systems.

* Bachelors' Degree or Controls-related technical certificate preferred.

* Expertise in controls systems from vendors (such as SDI, Intelligrated and/or Dematic) * Expertise with PLCs, preferably Beckhoff & Allen-Bradley * Knowledge of scanners/cameras - Sick/Cognex, Datalogic, & TwinCat * Solid mechanical background, including controls knowledge.

* Experience in writing programs for teams, including new hire training and onboarding.

compensation and benefits package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.

The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,100-106,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
