As a Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant, you'll work behind the scenes to ensure accurate, timely, and organized financial records for multiple construction clients. You will collaborate with U.S.-based team members and follow established processes, but you'll also bring your own initiative, problem-solving skills, and professional expertise to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Enter and review transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
Process weekly payroll entries, ensuring proper job costing.
Assist with 1099 preparation, financial statements, and reporting.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records in both our internal systems and client QuickBooks files.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding missing information, discrepancies, or client updates.
Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements when needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting experience (construction accounting experience strongly preferred).
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of job costing and construction bookkeeping practices.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working night shift (Philippines time) to align with U.S. business hours.
Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to delivering excellent client service.
Reliable home internet connection and dedicated workspace.
Salary & Benefits
Full time, fully remote work.
Competitive Monthly Salary at USD $1,400 to $1,700 (based on experience).
Paid Time Off. 18 days annually (includes vacation, sick leave, and holidays).
