Network Architect - Hybrid

Description :

Responsible for the engineering aspects of the network infrastructure domain, including long-term planning, design, implementation, and support of enterprise solutions across our network.

- Partner with business and project teams to gather requirements and design solutions, working with engineers and architects to develop technical domain summary documents and strategic roadmaps.

- Collaborate with the security team on architectural designs.

- Implement solutions that impact the current environment and influence its future by adopting new technologies as part of lifecycle programs and enterprise projects, providing guidance to IT leadership.

- Ensure designs meet Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery requirements.

- Work with vendors, managed service providers, and professional services teams, including CBTS Managed Service Provider for data centers.

- Interest or experience in savvy design is a plus.

Additional Notes:

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their design work and explain their decisions. Design experience is critical. The ideal candidate will handle budgeting, vendor management, hardware procurement, and support the implementation of their designs. However, strong design experience can compensate for limited vendor management or budgeting experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

2+ years creating and delivering advanced enterprise-wide network architectures covering LAN, WAN, Wireless, 4/5G, SD-WAN, VPNs, NAC, SASE, and Zero Trust.

5+ years of experience in multi-site environments with at least 1500+ endpoints.

Experience in creating, implementing, and supporting scalable network architectures with disaster recovery, fault tolerance, security, and performance tuning.

Ability to deliver complex technical projects within scheduled timelines.
