Job Responsibilities

Job Description NetScout Platform (5075% of time): Administer and manage the NetScout environment Train others on how to use the platform strategically Maximize the value of this high-investment tool General Network Troubleshooting (25%): Break/fix support and complex problem-solving across the network Use tools like NetScout and packet traces to diagnose issues Reverse engineer network data to assess performance Other Duties: Support DNS and IBM solutions Participate in load balancing and switching/routing tasks Engage in potential lunch-and-learn sessions on NetScout

Skills and Requirements

Deep expertise in switching, routing, and load balancing Ability to read and analyze packet traces Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like NetScout Ownership mindset someone who can take initiative and run with tasks Experience with Linux OS (helps with NetScout) Scripting/automation skills (Python preferred, but open to others) Professional sense of ownership and accountability Familiarity with AI tools (though currently limited in effectiveness in this environment)
