As a valued contributor to our team, you will design, produce, test, or implement software, technology, or processes across multiple projects, programs, or products, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Impact You Will Make

The Infrastructure Engineer - Software Engineering - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Collaborate with software engineers and architects to align infrastructure with application needs. Utilize Terraform Enterprise to define and provision infrastructure as code, ensuring efficient and repeatable deployments and adhering to security best practices. Manage Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS to support scalable and resilient applications.

AI Integration and Development: Apply GenAI techniques to develop and integrate into cloud-based solutions.

Innovative Solutions: Recommend improved methods and techniques to provide innovative, thorough, and practical solutions that support business strategies and initiatives.

Technical Guidance and Best Practices: Counsel teams on company policies and industry-wide best practices for AI, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Policy as Code, and EKS implementation.

Clear Communication: Communicate technical subject matter clearly and concisely to team leadership and project stakeholders. Ensure that complex concepts are understood and actionable.

The Experience You Bring to the Team

Minimum Required Experiences:

6 years Skills

Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages

Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information

Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions

Experience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives

Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process

Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action

Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing Tools

Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms

Experience using APIs for developing or programming software

Desired Experiences:

Proficiency in Terraform Enterprise for infrastructure as code and Sentinel Policy

Git proficiency (branching, merging, pull requests)

Experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes

Skills with AI tool set like GitHub CoPilot, AWS SageMaker and Bedrock

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, or similar

Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Familiar with the GitLab CICD pipeline integration for Terraform workflows is a plus

Bachelor degree or equivalent

Total Base Pay Range: $152,000.00 - $205,000.00 a year
