Position Overview
We’re seeking a business-minded and healthcare-savvy Corporate Counsel to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor across the organization, providing legal guidance on a wide range of matters with a focus on contract review and negotiation, pharmacy operations, healthcare compliance, and regulatory. This is a unique opportunity to be an early legal hire and help shape the legal function at a fast-growing healthtech company. This position reports to the General Counsel.

How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including commercial agreements, IT, contracts, vendor agreement, NDAs
Review, draft and negotiate technology and software agreements with a focus on IP and AI
Help build scalable processes for legal review, contract management, and project intake
Provide legal counsel on healthcare, pharmacy, and regulatory issues (e.g., HIPAA, PBM relationships, state pharmacy board requirements)
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and proactively update policies as needed
Collaborate with external counsel on matters, as required
Support corporate governance, employment law matters, and internal policy development
A Few Things About You
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (preferably Ohio)
4–8 years of relevant legal experience
Extremely organized and detailed orientated with the ability to work at a fast pace
Ability to work in Google ecosystem, tech savvy with redline process
Exposure to pharmacy operations, healthcare regulations, or life sciences
Working knowledge of HIPAA, and other healthcare-related regulatory frameworks
Familiarity with URAC, NAPB, and GMP regulatory standards is a plus
Experience contract management and document management systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — ability to work cross-functionally and translate legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and excited to build systems from the ground up
