Position Details:

Your Role and Impact:

Patient Care: Escort patients to examination rooms, take medical histories, and perform vitals.

Lab Work: Conduct basic lab tests such as urinalysis, blood draws, and COVID swabs.

Medication Administration: Administer medications under the supervision of a medical provider.

Administrative Support: Greet patients, handle phone calls, verify insurance, and manage appointments.

Team Collaboration: Ensure the clinic is tidy and well-stocked, and support your co-workers to provide the best patient experience.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a medical setting.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program is preferred.

Current certification as a Medical Assistant.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting; experience in Urgent Care is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments.

Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.

Competence with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally required to sit.

Occasionally required to walk.

Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25-50 pounds).

Finger dexterity required.

Hand coordination required.
