Aerospace Structures Engineer (1171174)

Work on various programs connected with In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems being installed on commercial aircraft specifically to design, develop, and analyze the engineering components required to facilitate the IFE system installations. Responsible for creating CAD models using SolidWorks to support engineering data. Structural installation models consisting of aircraft fuselages and all supplemental models as required. Piece part and assembly level models. Responsible for creating engineering drawings using SolidWorks to support installation and manufacturing. Structural installation drawings for on-site modifications. Manufacturing piece part and assembly drawings. Update and modify engineering drawings to ensure part functionality requirements are being met. Work with design team to ensure engineering drawings meet company and industry standards from both structural and environmental requirements. Assist in developing CAM files using Mastercam and complete basic CNC programming tasks. Complete Finite Element Models (FEM) using FEMAP to support static stress analysis. Conduct Composite Identification Testing to advance in-house testing methods. Complete other engineering related deliverables.

HOURS: 40 hours per week (9 am to 6 pm)

LOCATION: Ormond Beach, FL

Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related degree discipline
