Warehouse Manager (Savannah, GA)

Job Description

Summary

This position will have full responsibility for the overall operations and strategic management of a 300,000+ sq.ft warehouse in Savannah, GA. The facility primarily serves cross-border e-commerce and drop-shipping operations, ensuring efficient and orderly daily receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment. By 2026, the warehouse is expected to complete an automation upgrade, introducing unmanned forklifts and other advanced equipment to achieve intelligent and digital transformation of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

l Oversee all warehouse processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory cycle counts.

l Develop and optimize SOPs to ensure order accuracy, on-time delivery, and efficient inventory turnover.

l Monitor KPIs (order processing time, error rate, inventory accuracy, etc.) and drive continuous improvement.

2. Automation & Technology Upgrades

l Lead the deployment and training for automated warehouse systems and unmanned forklifts.

l Collaborate with the technology team to optimize WMS (Warehouse Management System) functionalities for higher operational efficiency.

l Promote digital data analysis to support operational decision-making.

3. Team Management & Training

l Recruit, train, and motivate the warehouse team; manage manpower allocation and shift scheduling.

l Organize regular safety training to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.

l Oversee employee performance and career development, maintaining team morale and stability.

4. Cross-Department Collaboration & Customer Interface

l Coordinate effectively with purchasing, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth supply chain.

l Handle special customer requests and urgent situations to ensure high customer satisfaction.

l Maintain strong relationships with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) and transportation partners.

5. Cost & Resource Management

Develop warehouse budgets and monitor execution.

Optimize storage layouts and operational processes to reduce costs and maximize space utilization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above (Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred).

5+ years of warehouse/logistics management experience; e-commerce or drop-shipping experience preferred.

Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish, with fluent English.

Proficient in WMS, automation equipment, and related operational processes.
