Ultrasound Technologist Position In Providence Imaging Center In Anchorage, Ak
Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Providence caregivers are not simply valued they're invaluable. Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation.
Preferred qualifications:
9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation.
