Job Description: Responsible for procuring tools, equipment, raw materials, office supplies, and packaging to support operations at the Palmetto, GA automated distribution center.

Builds and manages supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and sources competitive quotes for operational and maintenance needs.

Handles purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders and performing limited clerical support for maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities: Vendor & Procurement Management: Research and engage with vendors, obtain competitive quotes, place orders, track deliveries, and ensure vendor compliance with agreements.

Inventory & Supply Oversight: Maintain inventory levels for maintenance parts, production materials, office supplies, and general operations items, including reordering and issuance.

Financial & System Reporting: Reconcile invoices, prepare accounts payable and accrual reports, document cost savings, and generate reports using FMX and spreadsheet tools.

Administrative & Operational Support: Provide clerical support to maintenance staff, input purchasing data into FMX, coordinate equipment returns/repairs, and request MSDS documentation as needed.

Miscellaneous Tasks & Errands: Use company vehicle for purchasing needs, track contractor-performed equipment repairs, and support daily operational requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements: 4+ years of experience.

Previous purchasing experience is a huge plus.
