Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems and APIs using Python

Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure to support crypto-based energy solutions

Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and blockchain teams to define and deliver new features

Own technical decision-making and guide backend engineering best practices across the team

Drive code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation

Optimize backend systems for reliability, scalability, and performance in a fast-paced startup environment

Stay current with emerging technologies in crypto, distributed systems, and backend architecture

Job Details

Requirements

Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience developing backend software applications in Python, ideally within SaaS, fintech, startup, or product-driven environments

High ownership, detail-orientation, and a proactive, self-directed work style

Experience with Django is preferred, also open to Flask or Fast API

Experience setting up CI/CDs and managing

Cloud experience with GCP or AWS

Experience working with databases such as Postgres

Experience building APIs and Microservices

Interest in crypto

Bonus Points

Previous experience working at a crypto exchange or DeFi company is a plus

Exposure to LLM workflows, or other AI-native systems is a plus

Node, TypeScript, React are a plus
