Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive ATC system expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.

You'll be the primary technical interface with our valued customers for ATC Engineering, ensuring the delivery of ATC QCD commitments and contributing to the functional validation phase of the subsystem. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Signalling, Rolling Stock, Project Engineering), align technical design, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of providing ATC functional and architecture specifications, ATC detailed design and configuration, as well as ensuring customer acceptance. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Signalling – Rolling Stock interface specification until mutual agreement from both engineering entities is reached.

We’ll look to you for:

Delivering ATC QCD commitments and being the direct technical interface for ATC Engineering with customers

Providing functional and architectural specifications, detailed design, and configuration for the ATC system

Ensuring consistency in technical design and contributing to validation phases

Following and participating in project risk assessments and reviews

Supporting the Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) in maintaining transparency of ATC Engineering work package performance

Communicating effectively with customers and ensuring ATC documentation approval

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

Degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience or understanding of ATC systems, both trackside and trainborne

Knowledge of signalling systems and their interface with rolling stock

Familiarity with project management and engineering processes

A certification in project management or systems engineering (desirable)
