Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the HVAC service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing the service team, and maintaining customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the HVAC service team to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Develop and implement service management processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC systems in commercial settings.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct preventive maintenance programs to prolong equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
Manage technical sales efforts to promote HVAC services and solutions.
Develop and manage budgets for the service department, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate project management activities to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any escalated client issues.
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.Qualifications
Proven experience in HVAC service management or a related field.
Strong team leadership and management skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
Experience with preventive maintenance and repair processes.
Familiarity with compliance regulations and safety standards in the HVAC industry.
Technical sales experience is a plus.
Budget management experience is highly desirable.
Project management certification or experience is an advantage.
