About the Role
We are a well-established and growing precision manufacturing company seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our technical team. This is a confidential search for a leader with strong CNC programming expertise, tooling and fixture design skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to production.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting goals and priorities to meet company objectives.
Oversee CNC programming for complex machined parts to ensure precision and efficiency.
Select cutting tools, workholding fixtures, and machining strategies to optimize operations.
Design custom fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing processes.
Prepare competitive and accurate machining estimates from customer drawings or concepts.
Manage multiple engineering projects from initial design to production launch.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.
Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (required).
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in CNC machining, programming, and manufacturing engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam.
Expertise in tool selection, fixture design, and machining process optimization.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience estimating machined components.
