Head of FP&A US Programmes
Within the finance function, Financial Planning and Analysis teams are responsible for leading the delivery of high quality and forward looking financial analysis and insights to the business. Bringing together FP&A experts from across the UK footprint, they are the primary points of contact into business Finance Directors and provide crucial insights on the key business and financial performance. We currently have an opportunity for a Head of FP&A US Programmes to be based at our Samlesbury site.
Your main responsibilities as Head of FP&A US Programmes will involve:
Delivery of high quality FP&A services, providing quality, forward looking information, analysis and insights through both a general financial curiosity, and via regular monthly management reporting process / integrated business planning process
Working closely with the Finance Director and deputising for them as required. Collaborating with both Project Finance Teams and Finance Business Partners to model scenarios and key assumptions across core future programmes and products.
Contributing to Finance and Business Plan reviews, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities around sales, margin/EBIT and cash.
Actively contributing to the delivery of FP&A modernisation initiatives to drive standardisation, efficiency and effectiveness. If required lead sub-elements of Ad Astra initiatives
Working with key stakeholders in the wider line of business and across the Air sector to understand the overall business financial performance
Your skills and qualifications:
· Member of a UK recognised professional accountancy body with post qualification experience in the FP&A domain.
· Demonstration of business understanding and articulation of forecast movements, risks and opportunities
· Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish efficient and effective working relationships and to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
Location: Samlesbury. While we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, this role will require c.3 days per week co-located in the office.
