Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join a pioneering leader in robotic automation and material handling equipment as a Mechanical Assembler. You will be integral in building sophisticated systems used primarily in the Food, Beverage, and Chemical industries, ensuring quality and efficiency in every task.

Responsibilities

Use machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and bills of materials to proficiently assemble equipment according to specifications and solve any arising issues.

Engage in reducing or eliminating non-value-added work within the organization.

Utilize hand tools to perform structural, mechanical drive, fluid control, guard and cover, and simple electrical assemblies, ensuring quality workmanship and efficiency.

Complete quality assurance checks using the Blue Books.

Provide accurate documentation including labor reporting, material issues/returns, material moves, and scrap reports.

Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including 'Kanban'.

Prepare equipment for shipment, which may include machine teardown.Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical assembly.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Skilled in using hand and power tools.

Job Type & Location

This position is based out of Randolph, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
