About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Sevier Valley Hospital, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, youll support two general surgeons with clinic visits, surgeries, and inpatient care. Youll assist them with a range of procedures like colonoscopies, endoscopies, appendectomies, gallbladder removals, hysterectomies, and bariatric sleeve procedures. With a current clinic volume of 8-12 patients daily, theres potential to grow the practice through APP support.

You will practice at Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield, Utah

Your clinic schedule will be 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday

Youll provide first call responsibilities one week per month

Youll provide coverage for clinics and facilities in the area (Delta Community Hospital and Fillmore Community Hospital)

This position includes relocation assistance (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications:

Surgical or OR experience strongly preferred (RN, surgical tech background a plus)

Open to new grad APPs with relevant prior experience

Strong interest in rural medicine and team-based care

Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license

Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date

Current BLS for healthcare providers

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process

Life in Richfield, Utah

Richfield is a city full of vitality and vigor. With a population of just over 7,000 people and a drawing area of 38,000, the community has all the benefits of a small town yet continues to grow and progress with time. It lies in a valley surrounded by beautiful red rock mountains and snow-covered peaks. With great schools, access to skiing, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, camping, mountain biking, ATV riding and golfing the area has something for everyone. Within a three?hour drive, you can visit any of five national parks or be in Salt Lake City to attend a Utah Jazz basketball game or Utah Symphony performance. Office space is located on the Sevier Valley Medical Center campus that provides the county with 24-hour emergency service. The hospital's medical staff consists of eight doctors in Family Practice, two in General Surgery, and one in Radiology. The three ORs (with the ability to add a fourth one) are equipped for laparoscopic, lasers and open procedures. The hospital is financially secure and ready to grow.
