Press Brake Operator

Acloche has immediate openings for a Press Brake Operator in Delaware.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Summary of role -uses a press brake machine to shape metal, plastic, or other materials by bending, forming, and cutting them according to specifications, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the machine, as well as inspecting the finished product to ensure it meets quality standards.

Machine Operation:

Setting up the press brake machine, including selecting and installing tooling, adjusting machine settings, and inputting data for CNC machines.

Material Handling:

Loading and positioning materials accurately within the machine, often working with sheet metal, copper, or other metals.

Quality Control:

Inspecting the formed parts to ensure they meet dimensional requirements and are free of defects, using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance tasks on the machine, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting for any issues.

Safety Compliance:

Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of production data and other relevant information.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Experience with machine operation, blueprint reading, and using precision measuring tools.

Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of how machines work and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move materials, and stand for extended periods.

Attention to Detail: Essential for ensuring accurate and high-quality results.

Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for material dimensions and bend allowances.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during operation.

Hours: 6: 00 am - 4: 30 (Monday - Friday) 6: 00 am - Noon on Saturday (overtime)

Pay Rate $18.50
