We are seeking enthusiastic, professional Servers to join our Food & Beverage team and deliver memorable dining experiences in our member dining rooms, banquet spaces, and at special events.

Position Summary:

Servers at Penfield Country Club are responsible for providing attentive, efficient, and friendly service to members and guests in accordance with club standards. This role requires a professional appearance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests promptly and warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.

Present menus, answer questions about offerings, and make recommendations.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.

Serve food and beverages according to club standards and sequence of service.

Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs, refill beverages, and clear used items.

Process member charges or payments accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with fellow servers, bartenders, and support staff to ensure smooth service.

Assist in setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, weddings, and club functions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Uphold all health, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications:

Prior serving experience in hospitality, restaurant, or private club setting preferred.

Knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails is a plus (training provided).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and remain professional at all times.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Bend, reach, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
