Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Keeps productions lines supplied with packaging materials as needed. Remove finished goods from production lines, applies appropriate placards and tags, and moves material to the storage bins. Returns the unused material from production lines to appropriate inventory locations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fill out loading manifest.
• Print Pallet Tags and apply to the proper pallet.
• Return material to inventory using scan guns.
• Supply line with proper packaging materials.
• Print stickers for the line as needed.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean.
• Submit required paperwork to shipping office.
• Verify inventory as requested.
• Move finished goods to the appropriate bin location.
• Verify quality of finished goods.
• Apply appropriate placards and tags to pallets.
• Must have the ability to work more than eight hours per day and more then 40 hours per week as necessary.
• Must have the ability to work alternating shift hours as required.
• Responsible for adhering to all quality system requirements.
• Follows plant rules and complies with applicable regulatory standards.
• Responsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent.
Forklift License.
