Systems Integration Plus, LLC. provides a wide variety of electronics, enclosures and advanced computer solutions. Since 1988, SIP has been a full-service systems integrator specializing in configuring COTS computer equipment.

Position Summary:

This is not an IT position. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect / Program Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex technical systems while overseeing cross-functional project execution. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and strong project management capabilities to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Architecture:

Define and develop system-level architecture and design specifications in response to customer requirements.

Analyze current systems and propose enhancements to meet evolving business and technical requirements.

Lead technical decision-making across hardware, software, integration, and infrastructure.

Ensure system scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.

Ensure re-use of existing technology to create affordable solutions for our customers.

Scan industry offerings to determine the best selection of system components.

Create architectural documentation and system models (e.g., diagrams, data flows, interface definitions).

Support sales team in proposal creation

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are translated into effective implementations.

Program Management:

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets across multiple initiatives.

Lead program status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Track project milestones and deliverables; mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively.

Coordinate activities across engineering, QA, operations, and customer stakeholders.

Ensure alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

5+ years of experience in systems architecture or technical leadership.

5+ years of experience managing large-scale technical projects or programs.

Proven experience designing systems, preferably in military and aerospace.

Familiarity with qualification standards (e.g., MIL-STD, SAE, IEEE, etc).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or similar project management certification.

Travel:

Occasional travel (up to 10–20%) may be required for stakeholder meetings, site visits, or program reviews.
