Job Description
Now Hiring: Purchasing Coordinator ( Bilingual )
Bilingual Master of Materials (a.k.a. Purchaser)
Location: Denton, TX
Department: Procurement and Operations
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Your Partner-in-Project-Success (PM/Operations Manager)
You know what they say — no materials, no magic.
We’re in the underground utility construction world, and we need a rockstar Bilingual Purchaser who can hunt down everything from pipe to power tools, negotiate like a pro, and keep our projects running smoother than fresh concrete.
If you love deals, deadlines, and the satisfaction of finding exactly what’s needed before anyone else even knew they needed it — you’re our kind of people.
What You’ll Do (a.k.a. Your Superpowers)
Source vendors and supplies; secure materials, tools, and equipment for water, sewer, storm, and electrical utility projects.
Build relationships with suppliers that would make even your grandma proud.
Negotiate prices, terms, and timelines like you were born in a bazaar.
Team up with project managers to make sure our crews have what they need, when they need it.
Keep purchase orders records tidy enough to impress an accountant.
Solve delivery hiccups without breaking a sweat.
Ensure everything we buy meets our quality standards — no flimsy stuff here.
Keep an eagle eye on inventory and coordinate with the yard/warehouse team.
Evaluate suppliers and level-up our vendor list when needed.
Help keep projects on budget by snagging the best deals in town.
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED required; bonus points for a degree in supply chain, construction management, or a related field.
EXP in the construction industry at some level is mandatory and 2+ years of purchasing experience (underground utility or construction preferred, but not mandatory).
Familiarity with construction materials; equipment = gold star.
Negotiation a must; organization skills that could win competitions.
Comfort with Microsoft Office other office suite ( excel) etc.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment ( this is a deal breaker).
English required, Spanish bilingual is needed ( to communicate with field staff and foreman)
Valid driver’s license — because sometimes the best deals are found on the road.
The Perks
Competitive salary (experience counts!)
️ Health insurance
Paid time off + holidays
Room to grow with a company that’s building big things
