Position Summary:

The Big Owl Tiki Bar, a lively and exciting establishment in Grasonville, MD, is seeking an energetic and reliable Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food orders to our guests. Our ideal candidate has full availability for day and night shifts, including weekends, and is committed to creating a positive dining experience for our patrons. We are willing to train you for this position.

Responsibilities:

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner

Ensure the presentation and quality of each dish meet our high standards

Assist servers and bartenders with table maintenance, including clearing dishes and refilling water glasses

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service areas

Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders to ensure smooth operations

Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

Full availability for day and night shifts, including weekends

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Positive attitude and customer service-oriented mindset

Previous food runner or related experience is preferred but not required
