About Us: Milo's Deli & Cafe has been a Franklinton staple since 1998. Our original location at 980 W Broad St laid the foundation for what is now Milo's Catering. As we launch our new flagship deli in East Franklinton, we remain committed to the values that define us: quality food, genuine hospitality, and deep community roots.
Position Summary: We are looking for motivated Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. This role involves high-volume cold prep, strong knife skills, and the ability to follow recipes with precision. Proper food handling, safety, and sanitation are essential. We value team members who bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating excellent food experiences.
Key Responsibilities: •
Perform high-volume food prep and line duties following standardized recipes
Prepare, shape, and scale artisan bread and baked items
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Manage oven duties and monitor dough conditioning
Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Prior experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
• Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks independently
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
• Availability on weekends and holidays is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation
