About the Role
The Communications & Public Affairs Intern role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of communication strategies and activities, collaborating across other lines of businesses in Disney Cruise Line in the delivery of internal, executive, public affairs and public relations initiatives across Southeast Asia and India.
The intern will provide support on the planning and implementation of a range of external and internal campaigns and will help to coordinate all aspects of operational workflows across the region to ensure they are executed effectively.
Responsibilities:
Daily media monitoring
Research and report on latest media/tourism trends relevant to Disney Cruise Line
Support with communications materials, including press releases, talking points, speeches and more
Analyse media coverage, evaluate metrics and present affinity reports such as sentiments, share of voice, etc
Support internal and executive engagement activities and media events
Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions
Think creatively to develop new concepts/ideas to support communications efforts
Support the planning and implementation of ESR programs and internal coffee chats with executives
Liaise with vendors for invoicing and payment
Internship Requirements:
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2026

Requirements:
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Interest or knowledge of The Walt Disney Company’s key brands - Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic
Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for communications
Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
Self-starter that needs minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
Strategic thinker with good communications skills
Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Video Editing Programs and Keynote
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Ability to utilize media monitoring tools will be a plus
