Network Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with a strong background in maintaining enterprise systems and applications. The role requires adaptability, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Design, deploy, and manage LAN/WAN solutions, including SD-WAN networks.

Ensure alignment with the organization’s Information Security strategy and contribute to its ongoing development.

Diagnose and resolve network issues

Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation detailing network topology, standards, and internal processes.

Implement and perform procedures to meet compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, ISO standards).

Provide technical support for both on-site office personnel and remote team members.

Minimum 5 years of experience working in an enterprise level environment supporting network data center infrastructure and hybrid environments.

Experience with Palo Alto networks next gen firewall technologies along with Panorama, GlobalProtect and Prisma Access experience.

Experience with HP/Aruba switching, wireless networking technologies, and NAC solutions
