[What the role is]You will oversee three HR functions to contribute towards a thriving leadership and organisational culture, to contribute to STB's mission and vision:

1. Talent management and leadership development;

2. Learning and development;

3. Organisation development

[What you will be working on]

You will lead the Human Resource Development department to spearhead initiatives and review policies that nurture future leaders and create an engaging, growth-oriented culture. In this role, you'll work closely the management team to shape STB's future, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous growth across our diverse workforce.

1. Lead Talent Management and Leadership Development by:

Creating and implementing engaging leadership programmes that inspire growth and excellence

Supporting regular review of succession plans to build our leadership pipeline

Forging strong networks across government agencies to expand development opportunitiesCrafting forward-thinking HR policies and career development options that retain and develop high performing officers

Crafting forward-thinking HR policies and career development options that retain and develop high performing officers

2. Drive Learning & Development through:

Oversee innovative learning policies and processes that foster self-directed development and continuous learning

Build strategic partnerships with government agencies and external training partners

Curate learning resources for professional growth, including impactful onboarding experiences for new hires, that align with our competency framework

3. Strengthen Organisation Development by:

Monitoring and improving key drivers of employee engagement, to support holistic employee well-being at the workplace

Analysing organisational climate surveys to implement effective corporate action plans

Orchestrating engaging staff events that enhance our corporate culture, from recreational activities to leadership dialogues

Delivering meaningful townhalls and corporate communications

[What we are looking for]

Preferably - Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience

Strong domain expertise in Talent Management and Development, Learning and Development, and Organisation Development

Able to translate and drive policy from review/development to implementation

Strong analytical skills and able to deliver results through and with the team

Strong communications skills, including good written skills

Strong team player and good stakeholder management skills; able to build trust and credibility with key stakeholders

An enthusiastic and driven self-starter, and able to think innovatively to improve current states

Have an interest/passion in HR and able to adapt market trends for STB

Showing good business acumen, analytical thinking and judgement

Working effectively within STB to achieve results

Working effectively with stakeholders outside STB

Serving with heart, commitment and purpose

Being innovative and learning continuously

Driving outcomes by thinking strategically with a transformational mindset

Driving outcomes by stewarding resources and building future-ready capabilities

Inspiring, developing, and enabling people
