Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Process Engineer to support process improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute to multiple projects, and develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Process Engineer will assist with product and process analysis, help identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements, and work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to implement solutions.

Qualifications (including but not limited to):

Bachelors degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).

02 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering (internships or co-op experience preferred).

Willingness to learn and contribute to cross-functional project teams.

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.

Reliable attendance and a professional approach when working with colleagues, customers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Assist in analyzing products and processes to identify cost, quality, and efficiency improvement opportunities.

Work alongside Maintenance Technicians and senior engineers to support equipment modifications, layout improvements, and machinery updates.

Help prepare and present process improvement plans, and assist in coordinating implementation and training efforts.

Support updates to standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control documentation.

Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and departmental goal-setting activities.

Assist with new model launches and other improvement projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

Help maintain required documentation for the PTS Quality System to meet compliance standards.

Respond to and help implement improvement suggestions from the team.

Support problem-solving activities to improve equipment performance and production flow.

Perform additional tasks as needed to promote Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost, and Delivery improvements.
