Job Description

Grand Design RV is currently looking for a Production Quality Systems Auditor. As a Grand Design team member in this role, your primary objective is to verify installation, build, and applications critical to build processes. These can be, but are not limited to; rubber roof, primary seal, Always/Never guide, and supplier parts installations. This team member will track units audited by VIN and deliver documentation for traceability.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Preform daily audits on assigned production line for items deemed critical to build listed above.

Report failures in audit process to Line Quality Manager.

Turn in and log daily audits for traceability.

Maintain a rotating schedule of all towables production facilities.

Aid Quality Line Lead with finding root cause of system failures, install failures, or non-conformities.

Help identify general non-conformities outside of critical to build systems that are seen while auditing.

Be self-motivated.

Assisting Production Quality Lead with shortages and any catch up with the online testers/QCs.

Cover for Line Quality Manager and Production QCs when there is an absence.

Maintain cleanliness of the PDI Crib area.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Read a tape measure.

The ability to use other hand tools.

Quality Control experience preferred.

Auditing and tracking experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Able to bend, lift and climb up and down stairs and ladders.

Able to wear harnesses and walk on roofs.

Able to move quickly when working online.

Able to lift 5 to 40 pounds.

Able to work early and flexible hours.

Able to drive from building to building on campus.
