Job Description Summary

Work in a team environment

be able to run the asphalt plant ticket system for extended periods of time

Perform daily inspections of plant

Be responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and other team members

Perform general labor duties when necessary

Follow directions of the Foreman

Properly follow all company policies

Maintain daily, environmental and maintenance logs

Loading and unloading of asphalt carriers

Receiving inbound materials

Qualifications

To perform this job, an individual must be competent, fast learning, and have a good attitude

Computer knowledge preferred

Excel in high paced work environment

Self-driven

Education/Experience

Minimum or high school diploma or general education degree requires

Previous asphalt paving experience is preferred

Work Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures in the employee handbook

Must be willing to work in a team environment

Must have a valid drivers license

Overtime hours maybe required

Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold

Be on time

Be willing to train others
