Looking for Consultants with Lived Experience of Human Trafficking & Who've Worked in Policy/Advocacy Spaces!

Background: The Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (Cast) is launching a new Lived Experience Policy Advisory Council-a council of survivors of human trafficking who will further guide and inform our policy program at the local, state, and federal levels.

Before we launch the council, we are looking to work alongside lived experience consultants to design a structure, recruitment process, and support system that centers survivor leadership from the very beginning.

We are looking to connect with survivors who:

Have lived experience of human trafficking;

Have worked or organized in policy or advocacy spaces;

Have participated in or helped develop advisory councils or similar groups;

Are interested in sharing insights to help shape a new survivor-led initiative.

What to expect:

Listening Sessions include:

Participation in 2 virtual listening sessions (2 hours each) held in July/August

1-2 hours of follow-up one-on-one conversation with Cast staff

Additional follow-up as necessary

2-4 hours of reviewing/editing the findings from the listening sessions and program materials (co-authorship opportunity available)

Hourly rate: $81.25

Minimum hours guaranteed for each consultant: 8 hours

Opportunities for additional hours for program design and development may be available.

This is a Consultant role. Compensation: Hourly range is $81.25 per hour and minimum hours are guaranteed for each consultant to be 8 hours.

NO Benefits package as this is a consulting position.
