We now have a new opportunity to recruit a Quality Engineer to be based at our global headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark.
As a Quality Engineer you will be part of a small team who play an integral part in managing and resolving non-confirmance or quality issues, promoting a quality-first mindset to colleagues across multiple functions and locations, and building quality across all of our products and processes. What You’ll Be Doing
As our new Quality Engineer, you will be the voice of the customer in coaching and developing our Operation teams. You will also promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, including product and process design within the development phase. Your mission will be to increase customer confidence by ensuring the quality of our future products and processes.
As well as this, you will be:
Handling customer claims, coordinating and leading the analysis of products returns, containment actions and root cause problem solving as part of the Corrective Action Process.
Acting as the link between external customers & Operations & Design Engineering teams.
Providing support in the use of quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D).
Providing support on Audit systems and processes according to ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 standards.
What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Quality Engineer, we would expect you to demonstrate:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial or a similar related area; with equivalent related experience also considered.
Previous experience from a similar role in a quality function is preferred.
Experienced of working with quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, and PPAP.
Working knowledge of ISO:9001 and IATF:16949 standards.
Practical and proven understanding of technical problem solving (i.e., 8D methodology).
Fluency in English, written and spoken is necessary, with Danish lanuage skills also preferred.
Ability to can build positive relationships across different functions and locations.
Analytical skills, a structured approach, and committed on achieving your goals
A "self-starter" mindset, with a drive to learn, develop, and enhance your existing skillset and capabilities.
