Job Description :The Media Development Expert is responsible for developing and deploying best practices for media experiences specifically for global clients.

The role sits between Strategy and Activation and is the point where Strategy is translated into Media Experiences for global clients.

About the Role:

The Media Manager will be responsible managing development and executing comprehensive media strategies across various platforms, working with cross-functional teams, and providing insightful media analysis to drive results to support a brand's marketing and communication objectives

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Implementation

Manage media planning, execution, reporting and optimization for a key client

Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, from planning and buying to implementation and monitoring

Ensure all media plans are fully aligned with broader marketing goals and KPIs

Day-to-day point of contact for campaign management updates

Coordinate offline and digital media efforts, ensuring seamless execution of integrated campaigns

Ensure adherence to global/regional/local client mandates, while providing tailored media solutions for the market

Manage timelines, introduce new tools, and continuously optimize campaign performance

Choose appropriate media channels (TV, OOH, digital, print, radio, etc.) based on target audience and budget.

Forecast media trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Negotiate rates/placements with media vendors and publishers

Schedule media placements to align with campaign timelines

Ensure media content adheres to legal and ethical standards.

Maintain compliance with advertising regulations.

Creative and Content

Works with creative teams to develop compelling and impactful campaigns

Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all platforms

Relationships

Take ownership of media projects, working closely with MI, media buying, and cross-functional teams

Build and maintain strong relationships with Media Group Head, Head of Media Investment and Partnerships and OOH Head to recommend optimal media types, timing, and locations

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Finances and contracting

Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal ROI

Ensure campaigns are billed correctly

Ensure all billing targets are achieved

Identify opportunities for business growth through media innovation and best practices

Reporting and Analysis

Develop and present monthly updates, work-in-progress reports, and proposals to clients, providing the campaign performances insights and recommendations

Provide actionable analysis and recommendations to improve campaigns.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns

Industry Knowledge and Trends

Stay up-to-date on the latest media trends, technologies, and best practices

Monitor innovations in the media environment

Explore and implement innovative solutions and technologies

Team management

Guide and mentor team members, enhancing their media and communication skills.

Provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations.

Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with other departments.

Requirements:

3-6 years of experience in media, advertising, or account management

Preferably has experience working in an advertising or media agency

Experience in FMCG is a strong advantage

Excellent communication skills in English

Strategic and creative thinker with an innovative mindset

Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
