Please put position summary here.rnESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:rnrnMonitors access control systems to support life and property protection initiatives; rnMonitors functionality of a multi-property access control and identity management system, and processes requests for identification badges, access permissions, and fare collection cards.rnAssemble and program new panels and equipment to ensure proper functionality and operation.rnUtilizes and monitors functionality of a large-scale video surveillance system spanning multiple properties and vehicles.

rnProvides technical support in the performance monitoring, implementation and maintenance of video surveillance system components;rnAssist in troubleshooting IP camera issues across multiple sites using remote access tools.rnPerforms emergency repairs of critical video surveillance hardware as needed, on facility and bus.rnrnMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:rnrnRequires an Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in the field of law enforcement or conducting criminal and security-related investigations; or (4) years of technical experience with enterprise level access control and electronic surveillance systems.

rnStrong working knowledge and experience with electronics, PCs, networks, communications devices, door & locking hardware, alarm devices, CCTV technology and software with emphasis on card access systems.rnAn equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.rnNone (license & certifications) rnrnCOTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
