Pay based on experience and credentialsBenefits: Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401K and PTORelocation: Not availableRequired: You must have previous Press Brake Operation experience for this positionJob Summary:The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to form precise components from various materials, such as metals, with high accuracy.

This role requires dedication every task, ensuring each product meets our high standards while contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

This position requires the flexibility to work overnight shifts.*You must have previous Press Brake Operation experience for these positions.We are a company guided by our core values: Creative, Honorable, Respectful, Innovative, Synergistic, and Total Ownership (C.H.R.I.S.T).Core Responsibilities:Machine Setup:Configure and prepare the press brake machine by installing the correct punch and die tooling, setting material back gauges, and adjusting machine parameters according to job specifications.We operate Haco Press Brakes and US Press Brakes.Programming and Operation:Input and adjust machine programs, interpreting technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and blueprints to ensure each bend is precise and meets exact specifications.Material Handling:Safely load and secure sheet metal or other materials, aligning them correctly with back gauges and stops to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Quality Control:Perform thorough inspections during and after bending to verify tolerances, bend angles, and dimensions are correct, using creativity and innovation to address any issues and refine processes.Machine Maintenance:Conduct regular maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting the press brake and tooling, to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve issues such as tool wear, material spring-back, or misalignment, making necessary adjustments in real time to maintain product quality.Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety standards, including proper PPE usage, and follow operational protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.Core Values in Action:Creative: Develop innovative solutions to improve bending efficiency, reduce scrap, and enhance final product quality.Honorable: Take pride in precision work and uphold the highest standards of integrity in all tasks.Respectful: Foster a positive team environment by treating colleagues and equipment with care.Innovative: Suggest improvements in bending techniques, tooling use, and workflow processes.Synergistic: Collaborate effectively with teammates to solve complex challenges, sharing skills and knowledge.Total Ownership: Assume full responsibility for the accuracy and quality of each part produced, from setup through final inspection.Key Skills:Technical Proficiency in operating press brake machinery, with familiarity in CNC controls, bend allowances, and setup procedures.Attention to Detail for achieving precise bend angles and maintaining tight tolerances.Problem-Solving Skills to quickly address operational challenges.Mechanical Aptitude for understanding and adjusting press brake operations and performing basic maintenance.Physical Stamina for standing for long periods and handling heavy materials.
