Job Description:
Develops initial treatment planning for clients and makes revisions throughout treatment, ensuring that patients are meeting goals at an appropriate rate
Conduct individual therapy sessions with assigned clients, following the requirements set forth by the Company
Facilitate client groups, following the appropriate curriculum provided by the Company
Responsible for the completion of client documentation in a timely manner, consistent with the policies and procedures manual
Communicates with family members or primary support system identified by patient, updating them on patient progress and providing them with the tools to engage in their own recovery efforts
Compliant with the policies and procedures of the Company as well as ethical standards consistent with federal and state licensing board requirements
Play an active role in seeking consult and supervision when necessary
Attend required training to ensure quality clinical care
Attend and participate in treatment team meetings
Possess appropriate conflict resolution skills and the capacity to manage highly stressful clinical situations
Administers surveys developed by the Company to ensure quality assurance and clinical best practices
Must act as an advocate for all clients, ensuring that individual needs are heard and met with dignity and compassion
Will report critical incidents directly and immediately to the clinical director or management team
Will communicate all client concerns to the clinical director and/or treatment team to ensure appropriate care is being provided
Performs additional duties from time to time as assigned by management
Must set and maintain strong boundaries, engaging with patients in a professional manner
Maintain a sense of professionalism both inside and outside of sessions and groups
Qualifications:
Must have a valid drivers license
Masters Degree in relevant field with post-degree experience in the assessment, diagnosis, case management, and treatment of substance use disorders
Must be a licensed clinician in the state of Nevada (state intern license required for CPC/MFT)
Experience with acute mental illness and substance use disorders preferred
Ability to work flexible hours
The ability and willingness to function as a member of a professional team
Strong sense of self-awareness, empathy, and compassion
Must have experience with or possess an advanced understanding of cultural competence
Experience with the treatment of trauma is preferred
Experience with the diagnosis and treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
Must possess excellent boundaries
Must possess strong communication skills
Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen
