***Lead Instructor, Lineworker Trainee Program

Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lead Instructor to facilitate our Lineworker Trainee Program. This program prepares students for careers in the electric utility and communications industry with a strong emphasis on safety, technical skills, and field readiness.
This is a seasonal, instructional role scheduled for 12-week sessions in both Spring and Fall, with potential for additional instructional hours throughout the year based on requested training needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and hands-on instruction aligned with program objectives and industry standards.
Lead 8-hour instructional sessions, 4 days per week, combining classroom theory and field-based training.
Support curriculum development and ensure materials reflect current industry practices.
Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, promoting a safety-first mindset.
Participate in periodic instructor meetings and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of recent experience as a Journeyman Lineworker.
Experience in training or instructing apprentices, trainees, or crews.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and safety standards to diverse learners.
Comfortable working in outdoor, physical training environments.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
