Envision a role where your hands create the future of composite technology. As a Composite Materials Technician, you will pioneer the art of composite hand lay-up, hone vacuum bagging skills, and achieve mastery through precise hand-finishing.
Your Daily Responsibilities
Craft composite materials through proficient hand lay-up (Wet & Prepreg)
Engage in vacuum bagging techniques
Expertly manipulate resin systems such as Epoxy, Polyester, and others
Create perfection with seamless hand-finishing on patterns and molds
Utilize various hand tools for cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling
Implement adhesive bonding methods with precision
Assemble structural components, focusing on setup, bonding, and fasteners
Regularly conduct self-assessments to ensure quality standards are met
Your Credentials
3+ years of working with advanced composite materials (Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass)
Experience thriving in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to understand, interpret, and refine standard instructions (SOPs)
Fluency with measurement devices such as Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
Showcase exceptional hands-on craftsmanship
Experience with diverse hand tools in cutting, grinding, and assembling
Knowledgeable in adhesive bonding and structural assembly practices
Proven track record of attention to detail and handling tight tolerances
