ComResource is looking for a Business Analyst – IT & InfoSec (Non-Functional).
We need someone to assist in gathering and managing non-functional requirements related to security, infrastructure, and compliance, supporting projects like CMMC certification, SailPoint implementation, and on-prem migrations.
Responsibilities:
Work with InfoSec and IT teams to define and document non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, security, reliability, and compliance.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate security and infrastructure needs into actionable technical requirements.
Assist in triaging IT risks and security incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation and escalation.
Define requirements for data protection, authentication, encryption, and access control.
Support identity and access management (IAM), security monitoring, and incident response workflows.
Gather requirements for infrastructure and cloud-related projects with a focus on scalability and uptime.
Partner with IT operations to define SLAs, DR strategies, and system availability goals.
Capture technical needs related to configuration management, system logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM solutions).
Essentials:
Strong experience as a Business Analyst in IT or InfoSec environments.
Demonstrated ability to work with non-functional requirements across infrastructure and security domains.
Experience supporting security initiatives such as CMMC, IAM, or SIEM deployments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Desired:
Prior experience supporting SailPoint, Documentum, or other enterprise security tools.
Familiarity with cloud environments, disaster recovery, and service reliability practices.
Ability to coordinate across cross-functional InfoSec and IT teams.
Experience supporting compliance-driven initiatives and technical risk assessments.
