Job Description
Part-Time Social Media Content Creator/Designer Wanted at Boston Impressions
If you know your way around a reel, a caption, and After Effects... pull up a chair.
Hey there, content wizard!
Still scrolling through job boards thinking, “Everything looks the same”?
Yeah. We thought so too. Until now.
Boston Impressions is looking for a part-time social media content creator/designer to join our in-house team in Nashua, NH. That means in person, at the actual studio. Where the ideas fly, the coffee flows, and the music choices are questionable at best.
Let’s be honest up front.
This is not an "I just love social media" gig.
This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, concept-it, design-it, animate-it, and post-it kind of role.
If you don’t have the skills listed below, we’re not the right fit.
If you do—and you're awesome—we’ve got a spot just for you.
Must Haves:
Local. In-house. No remote. No hybrid. We love our studio too much.
Adobe Creative Suite experience. We’re not a Canva shop.
After Effects skills. Motion is your love language.
Portfolio or samples. Show us your social chops, not just a résumé.
Social platform know-how. You understand how to design for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and beyond.
Basic video editing. Even better if you make it look easy.
Strong copy chops. Short-form, clever, eye-catching, scroll-stopping kind of writing.
A great attitude and quick wit. You need to laugh. We do. A lot.
What You’ll Do:
Create original social media content for both Boston Impressions and our amazing clients.
Bring ideas to life from scratch. Sometimes there’s a brief. Sometimes there’s just a shrug and a coffee-fueled idea.
Turn stills into motion, text into something snappy, and clients into fans.
Repurpose podcast clips, client events, and random dog videos into click-worthy content.
Collaborate with the design team to make sure every post feels smart, on-brand, and worthy of a double tap.
What Makes This Studio Different?
We don’t do boring.
You won’t be stuck pushing out cookie-cutter posts.
You’ll actually help shape content and campaigns.
You’ll laugh every day. Possibly at yourself. Definitely at Tim.
You’ll work with a team that gives a damn about creativity and culture.
There’s a Golden Retriever named Louie who is basically Head of Studio Morale.
Thinks coffee and tequila is a love language

Send us your resume, portfolio link, and a short answer to this question:
What brand (besides ours, obviously) nails social media, and why?
We’ll read it. We’ll judge it. We might high-five you.
