Signal Integrity Engineer – AI/ML Server Platforms Remote (U.S. Based)
LHH is partnering with a cutting-edge technology company to find a Signal Integrity Engineer with deep expertise in low-level driver development, signal integrity, and hardware/software integration. This fully remote role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives at the intersection of hardware validation, high-speed interface design, and AI infrastructure performance optimization.
Salary Range:
$140,000 – $180,000 annually
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, location, and contractual requirements.Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain kernel-mode and user-mode drivers for AI/ML server platforms
Collaborate with hardware teams to validate and tune high-speed interfaces (SERDES, PCIe, CXL, MIPI, HDMI)
Perform signal integrity analysis and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and simulation software
Support post-silicon validation and bring-up of AI accelerators and server-grade GPUs
Analyze system-level interactions between OS, drivers, and hardware components
Automate hardware validation and telemetry collection using Python, C/C++, and scripting tools
Work closely with AI performance teams to optimize power, thermal, and throughput metricsRequired Qualifications
BSEE or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in hardware/software co-design
Proven experience in driver development (Windows WDDM, Linux kernel modules, HAL)
Strong understanding of high-speed signaling standards (112G/224G SERDES, HDMI, MIPI, LVDS)
Hands-on experience with signal integrity tools and lab equipment
Familiarity with AI/ML hardware platforms and performance validation
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and debugging tools (WinDbg, GPUView, GDB)Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, or custom silicon validation
Knowledge of telemetry systems and power/performance monitoring
Contributions to open-source driver or hardware validation frameworks
Familiarity with cloud-scale server environments and AI workloadsBenefits
